Stainless Steel Splashbacks.
These are relatively low cost and offer an attractive and durable surface. They can be easily cleaned using water or a stainless steel cleaner. Stainless steel splashbacks can be made in economy thin sheet formats or thicker wooden backed forms with folded edges. Choose the thicker type, preferably about 8mm thick when putting them next to tiles.

Glass Splashbacks.
These are available in a number of colours. Toughened 6mm glass is used and painted on the back to give the splashback its colour. They are easy to clean and are very durable. They are heat proof to 200 degrees centigrade.

Fitting splashbacks
Splashbacks can be easily fitted using an adhesive. Hold in place for about 1 hour using heavy objects such as books.
